Link Medical Interface | Research, Publishing, Education & Care

Health Research · Publishing · Education · Care

Building the infrastructure that good research deserves.

Link Medical Interface is a Lahore-based organisation bringing scholarly publishing, research support, professional education and physiotherapy care into one connected platform.

Our journey began with clinical practice in 2010 and grew from a simple conviction: meaningful work deserves the right structure around it. Researchers need clear guidance. Authors need credible publishing pathways. Professionals need practical opportunities to learn. Patients need care that begins with listening.

Publisher Policies

One comprehensive policy framework supporting consistent editorial, ethical and governance standards across our journals.

2010
Rooted in Practice

Our work grew from physiotherapy and rehabilitation practice and expanded into research, education and scholarly publishing.

One institution. Four connected areas of service.

Research does not begin at manuscript submission, and care does not end at the clinic door.

Our four divisions are designed to support the wider journey—from asking better questions and developing stronger professional skills to sharing knowledge responsibly and providing person-centred care.

Publishing

Scholarly publishing with standards that are clear. LMI Publishers manages a portfolio of peer-reviewed, open-access journals across health and allied disciplines.

Our publishing model is built around transparent journal identities, documented editorial procedures, independent peer review, responsible research reporting and clearly stated author rights.

Learning designed for real professional work. Our education and events programmes focus on the capabilities professionals are often expected to have but are rarely taught systematically.

These include research methodology, scientific writing, publication ethics, evidence-informed practice and professional development across health and research settings.

Learn More About LMI

Many capable clinicians, researchers and early-career academics work in environments where research support is fragmented or unavailable.

They may be expected to design a study, prepare an ethics application, analyse evidence, write clearly, respond to peer review and navigate publication—often without access to a research office or experienced editorial guidance.

Link Medical Interface was created to help close that gap.

We bring research support, professional education, scholarly publishing and clinical practice into one connected environment. Each area informs the others: clinical questions can inspire research, research can strengthen education, education can improve practice, and responsible publishing can carry useful knowledge further.

We believe that rigour and accessibility belong together.

Standards should be demanding, but processes should be understandable. Policies should protect quality without creating unnecessary distance. People should know what is expected, where to seek help and how decisions are made.

Our purpose is not simply to provide services. It is to build dependable pathways through which better questions can become better studies, better communication and, ultimately, better practice.

How We Work

Guided by clarity, independence and respect.

Clarity Before Complexity

Policies, fees, responsibilities, timelines and routes for assistance should be understandable before a person is asked to make a commitment. We aim to communicate in language that is precise, accessible and useful.

Standards Before Speed

Good decisions require appropriate evidence, review and professional judgement. We do not allow pressure, payment or convenience to replace editorial, ethical or clinical standards.

Independence by Design

Independence is strengthened through structure. Editorial decisions are separated from invoicing. Organisational leadership does not determine independent ethics decisions. Complaints are routed outside routine management.

Respect in Every Interaction

Authors, reviewers, researchers, learners, patients, staff and partners should encounter professionalism, dignity and timely communication. Standards matter most when they are reflected in everyday conduct.

Responsible Commitments

Clear expectations create stronger relationships. Responsible institutions are careful about the promises they make. We focus on what we can deliver with integrity: fair procedures, accurate information, thoughtful review, professional communication and work guided by evidence.

01

Publication Decisions

Every submission is considered on its merits. Submission to one of our journals does not determine the editorial outcome.

Manuscripts are assessed for relevance, quality, ethical integrity and suitability for the journal. Publication fees are considered only after a manuscript has been accepted through the editorial process.

02

Indexing and Recognition

We describe current status accurately. Indexing, accreditation and recognition decisions are made by independent organisations.

We publish the current status of each journal clearly and update our public information when that status changes.

03

Clinical Care

Care begins with assessment. Every patient is assessed individually before a treatment plan is recommended.

We explain clinical findings, discuss appropriate options and work towards meaningful goals without presenting a particular outcome as guaranteed.
