Journals

Link Medical Interface publishes four peer-reviewed, open-access journals in health, medicine, rehabilitation, and communication sciences. A fifth title, in precision medicine, is published by BMU Ventures (Private) Limited — a separately incorporated organisation with which Link Medical Interface collaborates. All five are listed together for the convenience of authors, reviewers, and readers, with each journal’s publisher clearly identified.

Every journal operates on the same foundations: immediate open access with no charge to readers, double-blind peer review, publication under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence, author-retained copyright, and article processing charges raised only after formal acceptance. Each journal maintains its own editorial board, website, and complete published policy set, and each applies the Link Medical Interface Publishing Policy Framework.

Publication fees

A uniform article processing charge applies across our journals: PKR 25,000 for authors based in Pakistan. For international authors, JHRR, JHWCR, and JSLA charge USD 200; LMJHCR and JPMHR charge the equivalent of PKR 25,000.

The charge is raised only after a manuscript has been formally accepted. There is no submission fee, no peer review fee, and no page or colour charge. Waivers — partial or full — are available on request after acceptance, and a waiver request cannot affect a decision already taken. See the fee and waiver policy.

What our journals share

Open access, free to readers. Every article is freely available on publication, with no embargo, subscription, or registration requirement.

Double-blind peer review. Every submission is assessed by a minimum of two independent reviewers with relevant expertise.

Author-retained copyright. Authors keep copyright and grant a non-exclusive licence to publish.

Persistent identification and preservation. All articles receive DOIs, are deposited with structured metadata, and are preserved through the PKP Preservation Network.

One published policy framework. Every journal applies the Link Medical Interface Publishing Policy Framework in full.

Discoverability

Articles are assigned DOIs and published with structured metadata, which makes them discoverable through scholarly search platforms including Google Scholar and through DOI-based citation linking. Directories, abstracting services, and citation databases each apply their own independent inclusion criteria, and national recognition is granted and reviewed by the relevant authority alone. We state a journal’s status with a given service only where that status has been formally confirmed. Current status for each title is stated on the journal’s own website.
